A video player that stops for the minute of silence, and what it does around it.
Set the time of an insert, and HonorPlayer plays the minute of silence at that moment, by the computer’s clock.
The main video pauses, crossfades into the insert, and when the insert ends crossfades back. It resumes at the very frame it stopped on.
Each insert has its own time and its own switch. Use the built-in minute of silence or any video file; choose whether it fits the window or fills it, and whether it plays without sound.
If an insert is due while the main video is paused or none is open, you decide in Settings whether it is shown or skipped.
Controls over the picture in QuickTime’s style: volume, 10-second steps, back to the start and the scrubber. Drop a video on the window, or use Open With.
With no video open the hot keys are listed at the left, and the last videos you opened wait under «Open file»: the newest three, and five more under «Previous».
Play and pause, seek, sound, full screen, 100% size, open a file, close the video, settings and quit are one right click away.
HonorPlayer checks this site for a new version, downloads it in the background with a checksum, and puts it in place when you quit. Nothing is shown or installed while an insert plays or is about to.
