At the time you set, HonorPlayer pauses the video, crossfades to the minute of silence, and crossfades back. The main video resumes exactly where it stopped.
Apple silicon and Intel · macOS 11 or later
This is the national minute of silence in memory of those killed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
It honours the memory of soldiers and civilians, adults and children, everyone who gave their life defending Ukraine or was killed by enemy shelling.
Open a video with ⌘O, drop it on the window or choose HonorPlayer in Finder’s Open With. Space plays and pauses, the arrows seek and set the volume, F goes full screen.
In Settings (⌘,) add a time and a video file for it, or pick the minute of silence included with the app. Each insert has its own switch.
The main video pauses, crossfades into the insert, and when the insert ends crossfades back. It resumes at the very frame it stopped on.
In Settings you choose whether the insert is shown or skipped. The setting applies to every insert.
Yes. Each insert can use any video file you choose. By default it is the built-in minute of silence.
Not yet. HonorPlayer is macOS only for now.
